Bhimgoda Tank is situated a few steps ahead ‘Hari ki Pauri’. The tank is considered sacred since the meaning ‘Bhimgoda’ is the knees of Bhim (Bhim was one of the Pandawas). According to the Hindu mythology ‘Bhim’ hit his knee against a rock to get water to drink as he was thirsty. The water of the Ganges collected in the tank. A dam is also being constructed here; moreover artificial waterfalls make it more attractive and spectacular to admire.
